Doug Wilson

Since 2015, Doug has been the CIO supporting BMO Financial Group's Canadian Personal and Commercial business. In this role, Doug leads a team of close to 500 people involving FTEs, contractors and vendor partners, both onshore and offshore. Doug's accountabilities include P&L management in excess of $200MM, project delivery of over 700 projects, and development & operational support of 200 product systems. Doug serves as a member of Technology's Transformational Leadership focused on driving significant change in Technology's workforce, operational model and systems portfolio. Doug has also played a key role in Digitizing the bank's core processes to improve both the customer & employee experience through the development of re-usable capabilities to be leveraged enterprise wide.

Prior to joining BMO Financial Group, Doug held executive roles at TD Bank Group, CGI and McKesson Canada. Doug's past experience also includes consulting and professional services roles at Ernst & Young and NCR Canada in the areas of sales & marketing, strategy consulting and IT product & service delivery.

Doug has a Master of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business, York University, where he participated in the exchange program with Institut d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE, Aix-en-Provence, France) for International Business and Corporate Strategy. In addition, Doug received an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.

Doug holds the Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Chartered Director (C.Dir.), Accredited Outsourcing Practitioner (AOP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) designations and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
