Bobby is the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Manulife, bringing more than 30 years of global leadership experience at the intersection of cybersecurity, technology, and business transformation. Bobby leads the enterprise cybersecurity agenda, with accountability for global cyber strategy, technology risk management, and the resilience of Manulife’s digital ecosystem in an increasingly complex threat environment.
Before joining Manulife, Bobby served as both Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at TMX Group. In this dual mandate, Bobby led global information security, technology risk, information protection, and regulatory compliance across North America and Europe. Bobby successfully delivered multi‑year cybersecurity and technology roadmaps, strengthened governance and controls, and aligned security strategy tightly with business priorities to deliver measurable outcomes.
Known for a pragmatic, business‑first approach to cybersecurity, Bobby is passionate about leveraging innovation to reduce risk, enable growth, and build durable cyber resilience. This perspective has established Bobby as a trusted advisor to executive teams and boards navigating complex technology and risk decisions.
Bobby holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and has completed advanced executive education, including the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management.
