Alex Muriuki

Background

Alex Muriuki is IT Manager at TaylorMade Golf Canada, where he heads all country IT activities for the Canadian business — spanning infrastructure, enterprise applications, security, vendor management, and end-user services. A member of the country leadership team, he partners closely with global leadership on technology investment.

Alex has been a technologist for 23 years and has spent the past eight with TaylorMade. His current priorities are enterprise AI adoption and governance, delivered through a champion-led rollout across five business functions, alongside operational resilience and the modernization of core ERP and enterprise platforms. He also oversees adherence to cybersecurity policy and sets technology strategy for the Canadian business.

Before joining TaylorMade, Alex was Country Manager at NetGuardians, a Swiss banking security and fraud-detection firm, where he built and led the company's East Africa business. Earlier in his career he worked in systems analysis and IT advisory for enterprise and financial services clients.

Alex holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
